Christos Sotiropoulos - How Kate Bush didn’t save me from anything

  • Product Code: Β00014
  • Availability: In Stock

I grew up in an environment where the Christian religion and faith co-created and co-formed a sequence of behaviors and habits, not only among the people within the walls of my house, but also beyond it.

At the same time, I was trained to admire the culture of my ancient ancestors, and I welcomed the knowledge of their religion as a cute fairy tale. Growing up, many more reference points that I trusted were added, such as science, family, friendship.

Observing and coming to terms with these experiences years later, I began to wonder: how much have these elements shaped me? What is mine and what is acquired? Is faith a form of identity? And if so, what kind? Through this work I try to give my own personal answers by redefining pieces of this self-assembled puzzle.
