Yiorgos Depollas - On the beach
The unit Asylum contains photographs from the Leros psychiatric hospital, which the photographer visited once in 1982. During the brief period of entry into the psychiatric hospital, he tried to vividly capture the state of the inmates through the condition of absolute neglect and complete institutionalization in a space that resembled more of a warehouse for souls.
